Understanding Spider-Man 1 (2002) | With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man is a household classic.

We all know this. It's camp, fun, serious and just an enjoyable movie.

And because of that, there is a surplus amount of analysis videos on the interpretation of Spider-Man.

So many theories and so many explanations about one character.

What more can be said about it?

But that is the beauty of making videos in the film community because even if everyone has the same opinions or the same theories about a movie.

It is always so cool to hear them.

That is why I want to discuss my thoughts about Sam Rami’s Spider-man but not only his movies but all the others too.

To celebrate what will be a huge achievement for Marvel and for film with the release of Spider-Man Far From Home.

I want to explore the world of Spider-Man and look back at all eight incarnations of superheroes' greatest character.

To start off this series is 2002’s Spider-Man.

And what has always stood out is the iconic phrase With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.

I know other interpretations use this phrase but this movie was the first time I had heard it and because of that it has a more lasting impact on me.

And the older I get, I understand that this phrase isn’t just directed at Peter but it is also directed at Norman.
