Understanding Inside Out (2015) | The Joy of Being Sad

Inside Out released in 2015 is a fascinating yet simplistic look into our minds and the way we express our emotions.

A movie that I actually didn’t like the first time I watched it but over the years has become one of my favourite Pixar films because its story resonates with me a lot and I believe it is one of those universal films that every audience member can see themselves in.

Because a story about emotions and the way we deal with them transcends languages and time, we all feel the same emotions.

And Inside Out uses a core five to not overload the audience. Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear.
