Glass Onion written and directed by Rian Johnson is a spectacular and fun movie that continues the joy and mystery of its predecessor.
Benoit Blanc finds himself entangled in another murder that needs to be solved and just like any good murder mystery, you as the audience feel very involved with each step the characters make, you question them and watch carefully in order to solve this movie's mystery.
With a stellar cast on display, the outstanding one is clearly Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc. A character that is the main reason to watch this movie and will be the reason to watch its subsequent sequels.
But everyone else also shines and they feel believable. At times comical but that adds to the romance of this type of film.
A film that feels like it can take place in the real world but yet is very distant that I can believe in the madness in this movie.
A fine balance that allows Rian Johnson not to be shackled by reality and instead can play around with more exuberant characters and settings.
Definitely up there with my favourite movies of this year. Glass Onion deserves an 8.3 out of 10.
